Well, I can definetly see now that im in another phase of my weight loss. Ive been in the low 250s for a whole week (even reaching 249 last week) - today im 252 - and its staying off. Im eating more often - and including lots of new foods like soy chips, soytzels (soy pretzels), corn dogs, cereal, grapefruit, and salad. Im so excited for whats next and I can't wait any longer for it to all come off! Im way too anxious sometimes, so I gotta keep writting here in my blog. Its hard to believe ive lost 38 pounds since august and im still on track to be in the 230s come my senior recital in April. From then, ill face some new challenges like keeping it off during the summer tour with my group. But in the mean time, i just have to remain active and avoiding the sabotage foods which have helped keep all the weight on me for so long.

And now I enter the abyss of my quest - to charter a range of health which my body has never seen. I must see the bottom.

My weight today is 259.
I just ordered some diet supplements from a GNC-type website. We'll see how that works out for me - I think I want to try them although Im a bit afraid of the caffeene boost they may give me. Hopefully these supplements will help me to raise my metabolism and burn more!
Today I went to a masterclass that Joe Diorio was giving. Wow, it was so great to be in his presence again. He is such an amazing individual and player. Joe is a master jazz guitarist who played with the likes of ira sullivan and eddie harris. He was also one of Wes Montgomery's favorite guitarists. I played a few tunes for him - he made me play solo in front of the rest of the guys at the clinic and that was scary! But it is always inspiring to be in front of him and other great guitarists. Ill most certainly never forget my times with Joe.
Later this evening another intense New West Guitar Quartet rehearsal. I would have to say that this one was one of the most productive rehearsals we have had in a while. We are starting to get this music together for an upcoming concert where we are performing with film. I am very excited about this as I have never done anything like it before.
Later this week, Ill be down at the NAMM Show in Anahiem performing and doing a couple of product demonstrations. We'll see how that goes hopefully it will be lots of fun!

Day 144
Today was kind of a let down because I didn't make it to the gym. However, I did get a lot of practicing in and the chance to play a few tunes with my good friend Andrew. My eating habits were okay today, but I should have avoided the two pieces of fried chicken I had for lunch.
Ive lost 5 pounds the past two weeks so Im making progress, I just need to keep going in the right direction. Im determined to get to my goal. Illl keep you posted!
