Day 2941


Had a fun day of teaching - today was the first day my students got to play guitar, and they had a blast! Always nice when you hang out with 6,7, and 8th grade students who are actually interested and excited about something that their teacher gives them...haha.

Today:
B: 2 eggs, 2 slices bacon, broccoli
SN: almonds, cashews, and cranberries
L: Kale salad w/arugula, spinich, grapefruit, strawberries, almonds, evoo, chicken
D: grapefruit, goat cheese, flaxseed crackers
Water: 3/4 goal
Hit the gym and spent 30 min on the eliptical.

Today I'm feeling on track!

Day 2940

Had a great walk around lower lake hollywood reservoir this morning, reflecting on 9/15. 16 years to the day.

Been chilling at my place this afternoon and enjoying a relaxing Sunday!

Breakfast: 1 cup coffee, yogurt w/strawberries/blueberries/granola (*S)
Lunch: Salad: Kale, arugula, spinich, feta, chicken, 2 strips bacon, almond shavings, strawberries, grapefruit, olive oil. W
Snack: celery w/almond butter, flaxseed pita crackers w/cheese. W
Dinner: TBD w/Sarah

Tomorrow, gonna get up early to hit the gym and come home to work on lesson plan. Something like this:

7:00a: Gym
9:00a: Work on lesson plan
send a few emails, make a couple calls
10:30a: out the door for G/A and Burroughs HS

Feels great to be back on my weblog. Its 29 days till weigh-in.

Checked some shirts today, not much is fitting around here. W: 46.7"

Goals left for the day: check out some music (tonight will be fun :) practice --- hitting it after the keyboard..
