Day 337

The past three days have been difficult for me - trying to settle in and find a place to live has been proving tough. Had a great gig with New West last night and tonight were at Sangria in Hermosa Beach - thank god for these shows! And im sure blessed to have such great friends to let me stay on their couch while I get settled.

Ill be teaching guitar in Irvine for those who would like to have lessons, email me and maybe Ill fit you into my schedule!

Im looking forward to getting my stability back and settling down for the year into a new place - living on my own will be an adventure!

Im also anxious to start again on my health and fitness goals - I just realized that ive lost two pounds since my physical in early may so Ive kept off these 70 pounds for two months now! Its very exciting to know that its worked for me and I look forward to meeting my goal in the months to come. Im still shooting for a projected midterm goal date of Jan 1, and im going to be finally at the goal by my birthday in 2007. Im trying to think as long term as possible. My goals for the fall will include more weights, a more regimented routiene and diversity in my cardio workouts. Also, once I get my place im not going to eat out for a month as I get settled.

Wish me luck out there!

Day 328

As I enter this post, im eating M&Ms - maybe that tells you where im at. Honestly though, Ive been making better decisions while traveling. Im still working out daily and making good decisions. Im excited about settling down into a new apartment and getting into some sort of routiene. It will be a year soon and Its exciting to note all the progress that has been made! Cheers!

Day 315 - Independance Day!

Happy 4th everyone! Celebrate and be merry!

Musically, my practicing seems to be a bit mis-aimed right now - im going to try and grab onto something this week, probably continue to work on some tunes.

While I maybe am not quite at my weight goal I had set for myself back in April, Im definetly on the way, and I know I can get there. This 4th of July is very special for me, I remember a year ago how I felt, being over 300 pounds, and compared to now, its like I have a new lease on my life! I figure, being that today really marks the middle of my summer, it is a good time to re-evaluate my schedule and take a look forward. Now, I just need to focus on the remainder of my journey. So here it is:

July 4th (day 315): 228
Labor Day (day 377): 220
Halloween (day 434): 210
Thanksgiving (day 457): 205
New Year's (Day 496): less than 200
Valentine's Day 2007 (day 540): 190
Birthday: 190 or 175-180
9/15/07 (day 753): 175-190

I have my abs diet book that im going to start to follow - I wish I could find the inspriation to do the other excersizes that Im not used to - I like being in this position - it allows for me to really have something new to work on.

Day 312

After two days of being sidetracked, im going to try to get back into it today. I woke up early, ran a mile, walked another mile, and have already drank two glasses of water.

Music - i listed a bit to Nicholas Payton's Nick at Nite while on my workout. Im gonna practice some more tunes today, recently ive been trying to play as many as possible.
