Day 3,438
I've been wanting to get back on my blog posts for some time, and being on an airplane seems to be a great time to do so.
It's been almost 500 days since I've posted. In that time, I've turned 30, released another album, quit several teaching opportunities which held me back, and had my first year of my life making more money performing than teaching. I'm still single as a result of my stubbornness and bad luck, and I've tried my best to continue looking forward in my life and planning for the future each day.
Besides the many goals I've achieved in my professional career, I've been in a space of less improvement and maintenance with my weight and fitness goals. Instead of tracking my daily progress, I've been just getting by amongst the busy life I have, with more travel than ever, and many changes to my diet.
Today changes this.
It's the 22nd of the month, and I've worked out about 10 times this year- not nearly what I'd like, but at least it's something,
I've also been keeping track of my hunger pangs, sugar cravings, and avoiding soda. I've also been aware that I need to change my alcohol habits again, and work toward making better choices on the go.
The majority of my time is now spent traveling- a nightmare for someone like me with weight goals.
I am determined to keep focused on my goals and not give up. My body won't go where my mind isn't already there.
Today I ate around 2,500 calories- I'm shooting for between 2,000 and 2,500 a day.
I had a nice workout at th etymology, but I also need to get on the weights more and actually make some progress with how much weight I am lifting.
Lastly, im not going to get on the scale for a while- all I'm going to do is accomplish my daily goals, and when my clothes feel more loose, then I'll measure up.
I'd like to get a physical around my 31 birthday and also get dunked to test for my body fat percentage. I've been a little worried my blood pressure has been higher, and I'm curious to see what my blood glucose levels and cholesterol levels are. Right now, my weight is somewhere around 263, and Id like to get to around 230 by summer. My ultimate goal is still 190, however, I'll be in that range once I hit 211.
I'll get there. I need to stay on here. I may not have a huge support system, or anyone reading my posts, but I'm going to try my best to get there. I deserve it, and I'm going to prove it to myself that I have the strength and power to do this.
