Day 99
Here I am, on the dawn of day 100. While I have been lax in my blogging the past couple weeks, it has given me time to think about my diet and excersize as being something that is coming naturally to me now. I have proved to myself that I can in fact improve my health and lose the weight I have wanted to for so long. Its very exciting and Im going to try and put up some pictures soon. While I am still a bit away from my goal, I know I can reach it. This ship has definetly left the port and is going full speed sailing to a new unexplored land! I finished the lake tahoe challenge this week, clocking in at over 22 miles of swimming since October 24 or so. Next semester, Ill continue to swim, but I will be adding a jogging routiene and a more rigid weights plan as well. Thats the next step. Plus I need to keep eating the right food and cooking here at home more often. I haven't managed to get to the grocery store this week, so im going to try and do that either tommorrow or this weekend. Tommorrow is also the last day of the semester for me and I am super excited to go into my last semester in january. Im very excited about taking Ballroom Dancing lessons next term as well as my swimming class.
So as for my numbers, I still haven't reached my jan 1 goal of 250: right now it looks like Ill be somewhere around 260 or hopefuly 255. But thats fine because my goal is still to be at 230 by my recital which will be sometime in April of 2006. From there, im going to really have to make some choice in my life as ill be leaving school and entering the professional world. Im already starting to plan my strategy for the summer as I will be returning to the road with the guitar quartet. Last summer, it was especially hard to excersize and eat right on the road but this will be a new opportunity. I guess the best thing I can do is plan ahead. And planning ahead is definetly called for when I ulitmately want to reach 190 pounds by August of 2006. It may not be until new years 2007 or even the 10th anniversary of my father's stroke (September 15, 2007) But I will definetly get there. I can feel it! Its a very exciting prospect. So tommorrow Ill officially tally my 100 day weight but for now, heres where Im at:
August 22: 290
December 2: 260
difference: 30 pounds, (44" to 40" pant size)
Tommorrow Ill be logging this again with a more exact number. Thanks for reading!
